Despite its name, this site is not (at least not entirely) about the Kerguelen Islands. I just needed a name for the domain, and chose kerguelen, since I've always been intrigued by faraway, lonely places. So as not to leave those who come here looking for Kerguelia totally stranded, I've added a section on the islands.

There are more personal things as well, such as my blog. Everything is reachable from the menu on the right. Have fun!
